NIRVANA WATERWORKS LTD. is a growing and expanding, locally owned Waterworks Distributor in Calgary. A supplier of PVC Pipe & fittings, fire hydrants, valves, corporation service brass among other water, wastewater and land drainage components. Established in February of 2019, Nirvana Waterworks Ltd. offers great opportunities for personal and professional growth. We are currently looking for an Account Manager out of the Calgary region. The successful candidate will build and manage customer relationships by identifying and securing new customers, and identifying new market and product opportunities to meet sales targets.
Job Responsibilities
- Use various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations, etc.)
- Forecast sales, develop sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships
- Meet personal and team sales targets
- Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
- Attend meeting, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
- Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
- Communicates with existing customers to secure continuing sales and maintain strong customer relationships;
- Provide quotations, process orders, provide technical support, literature, and other support/materials for customers;
- Develops new customer potential by examining market opportunities and potential customer needs, tailoring products and services, and selling solutions to potential customers;
- Participates in setting branch sales objectives and is accountable for achieving sales results
- Advises the branches of pricing competitiveness to achieve margin expectations while, at the same time, ensuring flexibility in gaining large volume and/or new customer accounts
- Pro-actively communicates with Branch management on all aspects of customer alliances ensuring customers and branch expectations are met in a manner consistent with contract terms and any issues are immediately addressed;
- Provides feedback and recommendations on new products, services, and market conditions to customers, and branch management
Qualifications / Skills
- A minimum of 3 years previous Waterworks customer service experience is required
- Knowledge of Civil drawings for customer take offs and quotations is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and personal commitment to get the job done
- Team-player and an ability to work independently
- Superior interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills to effectively build relationships
- A self-starter, taking action to achieve goals beyond what is asked
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
Education and Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software

We are currently looking for an Inside Sales/Shipping & Receiving person to work out of the Calgary region. Working closely with the Branch Operations Manager, the successful candidate will have a strong customer service acumen and will be required to communicate daily with customers both internal and external to provide help, service and advice where needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Taking calls from customers and performing material list take offs for quoting
- Assist Branch Operations Manager with development of office and warehouse policies and procedures
- Working with Supply Chain, purchasing inventory, inventory control
- Ensure paperwork for inbound and outbound goods match
- Shipping & Receiving of all goods
- Keeping Warehouse clean & organized
- Keeping clear & concise notes of all goods coming in and out of inventory
- Following procedures & processes as laid out my management
- Keeping yard and parking lot free of any debris deemed unsafe
- All other duties as assigned by management
- Maintain a safe work environment
- All other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications / Skills
- Prior experience in the Waterworks business would be a benefit
- Order taking, reading blue prints
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and sales experience
- Good organizational skills is a benefit in this position
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and personal commitment to get the job done
- Forklift Operators License
Education and Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
